Joe Wilcox > I shot this series of white PSP images using available light. ISO tends to be high (320 or more) and shutter speed low (1/30 sec.).

Joe Wilcox > I almost sold the radio two weeks earlier, but the Voice of America editor buyer found a problem with the synchronous detector. Apparently, there was a synch bug with first-generation Satellit 800 radios. I later tested the radio and uncovered occasional synch problems--nasty nail-on-chalkboard sounds--but intermittent.

Joe Wilcox > I tuned into Voice of Turkey while taking pictures, and suddenly I wanted to keep the radio. But we will be moving into smaller living space. I've got to let the radio go. Sigh.
