Joe Wilcox > I shot this series of white PSP images using available light. ISO tends to be high (320 or more) and shutter speed low (1/30 sec.).
Joe Wilcox > The white ceramic PSP nicely matches the white MacBook.
Joe Wilcox > The first game my daughter got for the white PSP was PopoLoCrois, which is based on an anime TV show.
Joe Wilcox > I stumbled across this image in July 2006, taken at a late-2004 holiday event at my daughter's then-elementary school. I don't recall taking it, but it's easy to forget when shooting so much stuff.
Joe Wilcox > I uploaded this picture on Sept. 9, 2007, as we prepared to move across country. I dusted off my old short wave radio, the major means I got world news before the popularization of the Internet.

Joe Wilcox > I almost sold the radio two weeks earlier, but the Voice of America editor buyer found a problem with the synchronous detector. Apparently, there was a synch bug with first-generation Satellit 800 radios. I later tested the radio and uncovered occasional synch problems--nasty nail-on-chalkboard sounds--but intermittent.
Joe Wilcox > I tuned into Voice of Turkey while taking pictures, and suddenly I wanted to keep the radio. But we will be moving into smaller living space. I've got to let the radio go. Sigh.
Joe Wilcox > My once anti-Obama friend is now a fan. He is making buttons calling on people to "pray for Obama."
