Joe Wilcox > Nice touch: The "thank you" card and two others. Anyone who wants an iPod should get a life!
Joe Wilcox > OK, so I had no idea! With Zune Originals, Microsoft offers original artwork engraved on the back for free. What a deal! But, during purchase process, the artwork is not presented in color as it is in this cool, free poster. So not until today did I really understand my choice.
Joe Wilcox > Here is what the back of my Zune looks like. Please hold back any comments about the cutsie artwork. I like it. But there are important and subtle differences from the colored artwork poster. The eyes are filled in and so more vacant looking than in the engraving. The engraving is cute and haunting, which I like. The original artwork is just cute.
Joe Wilcox > The Zune 80 evokes quality right down to the box.
Joe Wilcox > Microsoft gets fine details right that Apple long ago forgot with iPod.
Joe Wilcox > Santa brought a new Zune 80, and one of the Originals engraved designs. For anyone singing Apple iPod praises, get a life! Microsoft put together a really great package.
Joe Wilcox > We enjoyed sunny weather, about 22 degrees celsius on Christamas day, our first in San Diego. It was merry, indeed.
Joe Wilcox > Ha, and you think Santa sees when you\'re naughty or nice?
Joe Wilcox > He reminds me of the giant hedgehold from Monty Python skit, "The Piranha Brothers."
